How Does Rejuran S Improve Acne Scars?
Acne scars are caused by deep inflammation and cyst formation with scarring.
After inflammation and injury to the skin by acne, the skin will try to heal itself by producing collagen to replace the ones that have been damaged.
In some cases, optimal healing might not occur, and may instead form twisted bands between the skin and the SMAS layer, which causes the skin to change shape, get pulled downwards and sink in, forming a deep, pitted scar.
Rejuran S reduces the appearance of acne scarring by inducing collagen reproduction and healing of the skin.

How Is Rejuran S Procedure Done And Is It Painful?
Rejuran S without Subcision: Using a 34G needle (tiny needle), Rejuran S is injected under the scar in the dermis layer.
Rejuran S with Subcision: If you have deeper and more fibrotic scars, we suggest Subcision to break up the fibrous tissues beneath and within the scar followed by injection of Rejuran S directly into the base of the scar. This will give you better results than Rejuran S without subcision. Subcision is performed using bigger needles and micro-cannulas to release scar tissue along the horizontal axis.
Rejuran S repairs dermal skin cells, and stimulates normal collagen production under the scar, resulting in a much shallower scar.
Is There Downtime for Rejuran S Acne Scar Treatment?
Rejuran S injections under the skin with a subcision has a downtime of about 2 days of small injection marks.
